Slim Fast Review

Slim Fast! When I think of Slim Fast I think of the 80's  and Richard Simmons. Mostly because these were staples in my house hold growing up. My mom lost a lot of weight eating these shakes almost daily. She would freeze the shake and then blend it up for a nice smoothie or just drink it on the go. Slim Fast is probably more nostalgic than realistic for me, but there is something about it that draws me in.

 

You don't have to think about what your going to eat and you don't even have to cook! Those are two bonuses in my book.  A lot of people assume that you should only drink two shakes a day and then have a nice dinner, but if you look closer they have catered this plan for various weight ranges and weight loss goals. They include meal replacing, but also snacks in between.

If I've said it before I'll say it again…it works, of course it works! If you stick to it you will lose weight. If you exercise and gain muscle, you can go off the diet and eat sensibly and not gain the weight back. This diet is easy and convenient, but most importantly temporary. Perhaps when you lose all the weight you want to, you could maintain, by replacing fewer meals a week with a shake and adding more sensible foods to your diet. This can be strict and may leave you hungry or with cravings, but its good for losing the last 10 lbs, losing 20 lbs for an event or even jump starting your weight loss routine.
