yesterday morning, but I hit the wrong button and it deleted and it didn't save. It was really dumb of me. Anyhow, I will rewrite and post sometime today. In the meantime I wanted to say, thank you for sticking around while I transition into new territory.
I changed my twitter user name, apparently at the wrong time because there is a twitter.com glitch preventing me from logging in. at all. And so because I'm going through twitter withdrawal, I'm using an old user name, @lorriebee if you would like to stay updated with blog happenings and general ramblings. I cannot access who I was following before, so it will be a slow update until I get everything back in order.

So frustrating!! Just wanted to tell you that I’ve just started following your blog and I’m really enjoying it:)
Just found your blog – liking it a lot

Hi Lorrie,
I just found your blog tonight. I have just recently starting using Twitter so I am still learning all the stuff. I was so proud of myself for learning how to actually respond to people without using direct message! Oh well! I look forward to seeing your posts.
Take care,
Terry Ann
Hi, I recently began reading your blogs and I just love what you have to say!
Please be sure we can find you if you change blogs again ~~~
Have you finished with this blog….?
the suspense is killing me!
Fantastic post. To me it is like what goes on in France. I mean they the French eat real food, bread, whole milk, eggs, butter, pastry, full fat yogurt, and drink wine and have mostly slim folks. They don’t count calories, limit carbs, or count fiber grams. They live longer, are slimmer, love food and are happy. We tend to eat all this low fat garage that our “experts” have been successfully convince is in our best health. Anyway keep up the good work!
It is interesting..I’ve travelled to Southern France and did observe French people having a passion for “real” bread, whole milk, desserts, etc.! And yes, they are slim and healthy! I will say…I believe they embrace walking. Many French women shop for groceries everyday, carrying a small tote bag, instead of Americans who shop usually once a week. They also walk to the grocery store. Same for Italians…Europeans embrace walking as a Good Thing. In Italy, the evening walk is called “La Passegiata” and it is a time to connect with eachother and it is a daily ritual…I believe this embracing of physical activity(daily) and an attention to portions(which Europeans practice) is really key. They also eat less processed foods, and natural foods. Americans are too sedentary (office jobs, video games, computers) etc. and our portions are out of control. I am 5 feet 8 and I currently weigh 140 lbs. I lost 10 lbs watching my portions, eating more veggies, using the wii Fit, walking, riding my bike, beach walking and cutting ALL desserts and sweets. I took my time and it took 2 months. I’m a size 4 and am happy with how I look and feel. Losing weight is for me, a matter of being strong in your mind.
Great information. In Defense of Food is full of great information!
