I'm not sure why I call these my cabbage shoes, but every time I wear them I say "these are my cabAGE shoes from Turget!" like the Target lady from SNL. It cracks me up. I wore these yesterday and have another pair in a dark purple/pink color. I've been wearing them with pencil skirts and jeans. Do you have a favorite pair of shoes for fall?
i like a good all-purpose black flat for fall. in the summer my wardrobe tends to lean towards brights where as in the fall i lean towards jewel and earth tones, so a nice matte black or patent black flat always does me good.
those and my favorite knee high leather boots.

For fall, I rely on black ankle cut boots. I have this same boot with a bigger heel that I tried to wear yesterday. I ended up changing out of them because my feet were killing me. I do love the way I feel when I wear hills. I feel like a girl. I was just looking for a chunky heel/loafer to wear with jeans. I’m taking your challenge Lorre… trying to step out of my comfort level…

I absolutely LOVE shoes. There have been many times when my shoes have been all that fit me. Thankfully now I am able to buy super cute little outfits to wear with them. And if you buy new clothes, your going to need . . . new shoes!
For fall I’m liking brown and/or black flats. They look great with almost everything and they’re super comfy. But right now I’m eyeballing a fierce pair of Cole Haan black pumps – very Mrs. Robinson.

Those are suppper cute! I read yesterday that gray and red are a hot color combo for fall – I have no idea if that’s true, but it looked very pretty in the magazine!
