(I made lemon and raspberry jam pancakes this weekend! Check out my other blog, Beautiful Layers, for the easy recipe.)
This week I'm adding a little more structure to my weight loss efforts. I feel like I'm getting the hang of my new, no-binge eating habits and now I'm ready to add exercise and a weekly weigh-in.
This week my goal is to do four hours of cardio and one hour of strength. On Friday's I will post my exercise tally and on Sunday's I will do a weigh in. I feel good about this.
I also want to start adding outfit posts on a regular basis. I want to do this to push myself to get dressed on busy at home days, and also to track my weight loss through photos.
So there's that! How was your weekend? Things were pretty quiet around here. Lots of cooking and working on projects.

Can’t wait to seeeee!!!
Sounds like a great plan! I love seeing progress pictures.
This weekend I decided to not eat dairy anymore because it’s making me feel yucky, and then I got sick and promptly drank a milkshake. I will never learn.
I am also trying to get more structure in my weight loss plan. I am looking forward to seeing the updates.
I’ve been working on structure as well with my weightloss plan. I know I’ll never reach my goal with out it. I love pretty much anything that has lemon in it so I can’t wait to try those pancakes!
Another thing you might want to consider is to measure yourself. Sometimes when I measure myself, I see results more than when I weigh myself.
I love your blog! I am considering buying the Brain over Binge book after I am done with my current book. I think it can help me a lot!
Have a great day!
Good for you! What a great step in your life-changing process. This helps you become accountable to yourself and you will now see all the success in your efforts. Because you are exercising you will not only lose fat but start to tone muscle. And, you are starting strength training once weekly? Fantastic. Building muscle ups your sitting metabolic rate so you’ll burn more calories while not exercising. Great choice! Muscle weighs more than fat and some weeks you may not seem to lose as much or not seem like a great fat loss week so measure your inches lost also. That will help you on your lower losing weeks to see results of muscle toning. Great job! Keep it up!
